Biography

Muaz Bin Zia is an Islamic Psychologist, Educationalist, Academic Instructor, and Master Trainer with an interdisciplinary background in Islamic scholarship, psychology, education, and human development. His professional journey reflects a commitment to bringing together the timeless principles of Islamic tradition with contemporary psychological and educational approaches.
With a foundation in traditional Islamic scholarship through Shahadah A’lamiyyah (Dars-e-Nizami) and specialization in Islamic Fiqh and Research, he has further pursued academic training in psychology, including a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and postgraduate study in Islamic Psychotherapies for Mental Health. This combination of classical Islamic learning and contemporary psychological education forms the foundation of his approach to teaching, counselling, research, and professional development.
As the Chief Executive Officer of the International Faculty for Educational and Psychological Studies (IFEPS), he leads initiatives focused on educational development, professional training, psychological awareness, and the integration of Islamic perspectives into contemporary educational and psychological discourse. His work includes leading workshops, webinars, training programs, and collaborative initiatives designed to support educators, students, families, and wider communities.
Alongside his leadership at IFEPS, he serves as an Academic Instructor at Edifyed Academy and an Instructor of Arabic Language and Mufti at Madrassah Abdullah Bin Abbas, Rawalpindi. His teaching and mentoring work spans Islamic studies, psychology, educational development, Arabic language, Islamic jurisprudence, and student development. He has also served as a Master Trainer at Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Educational Development, Islamabad, where he conducted training programs for educators and contributed to professional development initiatives.
His academic and professional interests extend across Islamic psychology, counselling and psychotherapy, educational psychology, curriculum development, teacher training, tarbiyah, mental health awareness, family and marital counselling, student development, and the psychology of contemporary social issues. Through his research, publications, seminars, and training programs, he seeks to create meaningful connections between knowledge, faith, psychological well-being, and practical life. His published and e-published work covers diverse subjects including exam psychology, Islamic psychology, career choice, digital media, family dynamics, and mental health.
At the heart of his work is a belief that education should not merely transfer information, but should cultivate character, consciousness, emotional well-being, intellectual maturity, and purposeful living. His vision is to contribute to an educational and psychological culture in which Islamic values and contemporary knowledge are not viewed as competing domains, but are thoughtfully integrated to address the intellectual, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of individuals and communities.
